East Kensington Elementary, nestled in South Surrey, offers a unique setting with a focus on outdoor learning and community involvement. As an educator, you will guide students through hands-on inquiry lessons that not only cover the B.C. Ministry of Education curriculum but also nurture their emotional and social development through nature. Collaboration with colleagues will be key to developing engaging programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the full B.C. curriculum in outdoor settings
• Foster inquiry-based learning through nature exploration




• Encourage stewardship and care for natural environments
• Work collaboratively for curriculum delivery and program enhancement
• Create immersive cross-curricular outdoor learning experiences

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary
• Valid B.C. Teacher's Certificate required
• At least two years of classroom teaching experience
• Completed university courses in Outdoor Education or similar areas
• Advanced study in Environmental Education preferred
