Lead transformative improvements at Seaspan Shipyards as a Continuous Improvement Specialist II in North Vancouver, fully on-site. Focus on enhancing safety, quality, and costs within a thriving shipyard environment.

This role entails spearheading continuous improvement projects across the organization, collaborating with diverse teams in Operations and Engineering. Your expertise will guide the implementation of lean strategies and Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring effective process changes and fostering a culture of excellence. You will be instrumental in helping the shipyard achieve its performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage assigned improvement projects
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis




• Assist in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
• Share best practices with team members
• Document project outcomes through executive summaries

Requirements:
• 3+ years experience in Continuous Improvement
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• Understanding of shipbuilding processes desired
• Project management experience advantageous
