Step into the Support Analyst II role at UBC IT, where you'll provide vital user-focused technical support in an academic environment. Successfully manage desktop systems and assist users across the UBC Point Grey Campus.

This full time, fixed-term position involves consulting with user groups to identify and resolve various IT issues while maintaining and deploying essential technology solutions. Collaborate with departments to fulfill service requests efficiently, ensuring that faculty and staff have reliable access to necessary resources and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot microcomputer environments for resolution
• Respond to and prioritize service inquiries
• Collaborate with Desktop Services for system enhancements




• Train and assist users on technology solutions
• Keep inventory of equipment and software contracts

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
• Three years of relevant technical support experience
• Knowledge of office productivity tools and networking
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace
