In this role, you will manage medication prescriptions and collaborate with physicians and patients to resolve drug-related issues effectively. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing accurate medication dispensing and counseling. Contribute to improving medication safety initiatives while participating in the mentorship of pharmacy students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications while maintaining comprehensive records
• Review prescriptions and evaluate therapeutic suitability
• Provide quality counseling to patients about their medications




• Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care plans
• Lead efforts in medication safety initiatives and evaluations

Requirements:
• Registered Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations in a hospital
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Physical ability to fulfill job responsibilities
