Reporting to the Director of Communications & Customer Service, this full time position involves developing, implementing, and evaluating communication strategies. You will lead a team, ensuring that communication practices meet the needs of internal departments and the community. The role involves critical supervision, planning, and execution of communication efforts to foster public service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of strategic communication initiatives
Oversee and mentor Communication Services staff
Manage internal communications planning and execution




Coordinate responses to emergent communication challenges
Produce various communication tools and resources
Requirements:
Post-Secondary Degree in Communications or related field
Minimum 5 years in communications, 3 in public sector
Solid writing, editing, and public speaking skills
Experience supervising communications staff
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
