DescriptionMUST be available to work overnights and weekends, and commit to at least 3 shifts per 30 day schedule period with one shift being overnight.Pay:$20.20 per hour with a $2 premium for hours worked between 11pm and 7amAbout the RoleAs a Relief Worker, you will be a front-line team member helping provide a secure and caring environment for individuals accessing shelter and detox services. The primary responsibility is to ensure that client's needs are assessed and met appropriately while clients are visiting our shelter. Working in a fast paced, high impact environment, you will:Complete admissions and discharges for individuals under the influence of drugs and or alcoholMonitor client safety and well being, including withdrawal symptoms and overall conditionRespond to crisis situations such as overdoses, seizures, and conflicts, with a focus on de escalationInteract with clients in a respectful, compassionate, and non-judgmental mannerProvide information on treatment options and connect clients with appropriate resourcesAfter 90 days of supporting our Shelter and Detox, you can be trained and work on the HELP team and our Housing programs, as well as look into our full-time positions.About YouThe ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with vulnerable populations. You bring:A non-judgmental approach,
