Job Description

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Job Requirements





- Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry work
- Proficiency in handling saws, drills, laser levels, and other power tools
- Ability to select and work with wood, metal, and composite materials
- Adherence to local safety and building regulations
- Strength to lift heavy materials and ability to stand, bend, and climb for long periods
- Good hand-eye coordination for precision work and operating heavy machinery
- Effective collaboration with team membersStrict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents
