A renowned international mining company is looking to hire a Senior Buyer to join their regional Buy team in Montreal. This is a 6-month contract (strong possibility of extension up to 18 months), working in a hybrid mode in Montreal, with a competitive salary of approximately $90K annually.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain, ideally within a shared-service environment
- Bilingual in English and French — both are required for this role
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA for Purchase-to-Pay processes
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work across organizational lines as part of a team
- Strong exposure to global business environments and global roles
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with solid analytical and problem-solving ability
- Self-driven, proactive, results-oriented, and structured
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

You'll Stand Out If You Have





- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and resolving escalations within a high-volume buy cycle
- A track record of driving continuous improvement through idea generation and implementation
- Familiarity with risk and compliance requirements within a procurement/purchasing function
- Experience delivering globally consistent buy services across regional or international teams
