Serve as a Psychiatrist within the Vancouver Early Psychosis Intervention Program at Vancouver Coastal Health. Engage with youth suffering from psychosis to provide tailored, compassionate mental health care. In this part-time role, you will collaborate in a team addressing the needs of youth and young adults aged 13-30.
Focus on an integrative approach to care, including medication management and diverse therapeutic interventions. Promote cultural safety and recovery-oriented practices throughout your practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose psychiatric conditions in young patients
- Administer medication, and execute therapy plans
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team setting
- Provide necessary crisis intervention and support
- Foster community engagement and support resource access Requirements:
- Current full registration with CPSBC
- CCFP and FRCPC eligibility required
- Appointment with UBC Faculty of Medicine is beneficial
- Solid background in psychopharmacological practices
