Join NORTHERN NISHNAWBE EDUCATION COUNCIL as a Casual Registered Nurse at Pelican Falls First Nations High School in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. You will provide essential health care to students on a flexible schedule.

Your responsibilities will include assessing student health needs, managing care plans, and maintaining student confidentiality. Working Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., you’ll play a vital role in the health and safety of the student body. This position requires collaboration with a variety of health professionals to create a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive health care services to students
• Develop evaluations and recommendations for treatment




• Maintain accurate student medical records
• Assist in emergency situations with first aid
• Ensure a welcoming and protected clinical environment

Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Nurse or have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• In good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certified in CPR and First Aid
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in Oji-Cree, Cree, or Ojibway preferred
