Systematix is seeking a hybrid Security Analyst to help strengthen cybersecurity within Ontario's colleges and universities. Your role will involve monitoring and responding to security incidents effectively.

You'll be integral to enhancing cybersecurity measures, analyzing DDoS attacks, and maintaining essential security controls. This 6-month contract position has the potential to transition into a permanent role, contributing to a safer digital setting in higher education institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and respond to DDoS incidents across systems
• Develop DDoS detection rules and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with security teams and IT vendors
• Conduct incident response for network-based attacks




• Create comprehensive security reports and documentation

Requirements:
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with cybersecurity monitoring operations
• Knowledge of firewalls, TCP/IP, and networking
