Position Overview Our Regina Rebuilds team is looking for a qualified technician (heavy equipment, agriculture, truck and transport, automotive or apprentice) to rebuild CAT equipment.
Wage: $42.62 - $51.57
Additional Continuous Shift Premium: $3.50
Bonus Target: 4%
Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation, sick and 7 days flex time
5.75% Employer paid pension, plus up to 1% additional
6% voluntary Employee Share Purchase, earns 2% Finning match
100% Employer paid medical benefits
CAT certified training: Additional certifications and skill development paid for by Finning
Job Description Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Machine Inspections
Condition reporting
Machine cleaning
Full machine disassembly, and reassembly
Component / part cleaning, component / part inspection and reconditioning
Verifying component / part reuse with reference to CAT reusability guidelines
Machine testing and adjusting
Interface with customers, product, and sales support
Working with supervisors on various tasks
Equipment and facility continuous improvements
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Various related duties as required
Qualifications Journeyperson Certification (Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport, Agriculture, Automotive)
Apprentices will be considered based on experience
Dedication to safety




Robust interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
Previous complete machine rebuild will be considered an asset
Experience with SIS (Service Information System), ET and warranty systems considered assets
Note This position is located at our Regina branch on a 7x7 continuous shift
This position is for the Rebuilds team
A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
