Utilize your locksmith and carpentry skills with the City of Regina as a Locksmith and Journeyperson. This role is essential for the upkeep and functionality of our city's infrastructure.

Candidates must be highly skilled, with the responsibility to install, adjust, and repair various types of locks and hardware. You will engage in carpentry work related to renovations and maintain high-quality standards in working with internal teams and subcontractors. Additionally, you will oversee other tradespeople to ensure project success and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and troubleshoot locking mechanisms for building security
• Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks with expertise
• Prepare sketches for proposed construction and renovation




• Supervise construction projects involving other trades
• Maintain effective communication for project clarity

Requirements:
• 4000 hours of locksmithing experience within the last 5 years
• Journeyperson's Certificate in Carpentry preferred
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Robust organizational and record-keeping skills
• Must have a Class 5 driver’s license and First Aid certificate
