The Community Nutritionist will play an integral part in developing and evaluating nutrition programs while working with healthcare professionals in a primary care setting. Individual and group counseling services will be pivotal, addressing chronic disease and special dietary needs. Collaborating with community members on food initiatives maximizes impact and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate clinical nutrition programming effectiveness
• Provide tailored nutrition counseling to clients
• Develop group nutrition programming to meet community needs




• Oversee food programs with Dietetic Aide involvement
• Support chronic disease prevention strategies

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Applied Human Nutrition required
• Must be licensed with Nova Scotia College of Dietitians
• 1-3 years of Registered Dietitian experience preferred
• Knowledge of cultural and historical nutrition practices
• Experience in healthcare settings focusing on community impact
