In this senior role reporting to the Manager, Accounting, you will ensure timely and reliable trading results through effective month-end closes and management reporting. Your expertise in trade validation, inventory accounting, and financial analysis will be vital in supporting corporate reporting teams. Collaboration with different departments to deliver financial insights is key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and reconcile trade data across systems
• Perform inventory accounting and support valuations
• Validate profitability through P&L; analysis




• Assist in financial disclosures and compliance audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on trading activities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years in operations accounting, preferably in trading
• Familiarity with SQL and financial data models
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Willingness to work onsite in Calgary five days a week
