In the Ottawa Laboratory, your role will include logging and labeling specimens for laboratory examinations. You will transport samples efficiently and utilize automated equipment for human sample preparation. Key Responsibilities:
• Transport and label specimens for lab testing
• Handle and prepare samples accurately
• Use laboratory systems for data entry and worksheet preparation
• Perform inventory management tasks
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and areas
Requirements:
• Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent experience
• Familiar with MS Office and laboratory systems
• Knowledgeable in laboratory safety procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to handle full-time schedule of 36.25 hours
