Schedule

- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Available shifts:

- Shift 1: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Shift 2: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Position Overview We are seeking reliable, safety-focused Vehicle Operators to support an autonomous vehicle development program. In this role you will operate production electric SUVs on public roads while collecting high-quality driving data used to advance and validate autonomous vehicle technologies.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong defensive driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured testing procedures and assigned routes with consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate company-provided electric vehicles on public roadways in accordance with all traffic laws and project protocols.
- Follow assigned routes and data-collection procedures precisely.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Monitor and accurately document vehicle performance, system behavior, and any anomalies.
- Complete required reports, logs, and project documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, charging status, and operational readiness.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with project managers and team members.
- Strictly adhere to all safety, operational, and testing protocols.
- Maintain professionalism and composure in varying traffic, weather, and road conditions.

Required Qualifications

- Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience in Canada.
- Minimum age of 25 years.
- Ability to drive safely in all weather and road conditions.




- Comfortable driving for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and route-following applications.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Training:

- Training will be provided during the first week of work, and an evaluation will be conducted as a prerequisite for continuing the project.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience with mileage-accumulation or fleet data-collection programs.
- Experience supporting autonomous vehicle testing or data-collection projects.
- Background in field operations, transportation, fleet services, or vehicle testing.

Contractor Requirements Selected contractors must provide proof of insurance prior to assignment commencement. Personal automobile and or WCB insurance coverage is not provided by Adait Canada Inc. Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own appropriate insurance as required.
