Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience and skills

Located just a short, scenic drive apart, our two well-established hospitals offer a wonderful way to experience both a vibrant, growing community in Bellville, and a quiet lakeside escape in Colborne. This role is designed to offer you the best of both worlds, supported by consistent, dedicated block shifts at each location, giving you time to settle in, focus on your patients, and build meaningful relationships with both teams. As a successful candidate, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and support team to provide the best care possible for our local communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Embrace the day with flexibility to maintain a smooth flow of scheduled appointments while remaining adaptable and welcoming to urgent cases or walk-ins.
- Design individualized wellness and preventative care plans, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutritional counselling, and laboratory screening, to support pets at every stage of life.
- Provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations and cleanings, and identify opportunities for preventive or follow-up treatment
- Nurture senior pets: monitor aging patients, manage chronic conditions, and provide gentle, proactive care to maintain their comfort and overall quality of life.
- Confidently lead elective and general surgeries such as spays, neuters, laceration repairs, and minor soft-tissue procedures - prioritizing patient safety and comfort.




- Cultivate trusted relationships with pet parents through clear communication and compassionate care.
- Maintain clinical excellence by following best practices in patient care, hospital protocols, and accurate medical records.
- Collaborate within a team-based veterinary medicine environment, recognizing the importance of every role in delivering exceptional client and patient care within each clinic.

What You Bring To This Role

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, DVM.
- Active full license or eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Canada.
- Confident in performing routine elective surgeries and other common procedures.
- Adaptability with your strong organizational skills and flexible attitude to help you easily glide between locations, keeping your days running smoothly.
- A commitment to providing heart-centered care, high-quality veterinary medicine, and supporting veterinary students and new graduates.
