Duties
- Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s daily front desk operations with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Assist veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, and basic clinical procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and ensure all documentation is complete and organized
- Prepare animals for examinations or procedures, including cleaning, feeding, and monitoring during treatments
- Support laboratory tasks such as sample collection, processing, and record keeping to assist in diagnostic testing (laboratory experience preferred)
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about treatment plans, medication instructions,
and follow-up care to foster trust and understanding
- Ensure the clinic remains clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies to promote a safe and efficient workspace
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and veterinary professionals
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners; ability to handle animals gently and confidently
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic computer proficiency for record keeping and appointment scheduling; familiarity with veterinary software is a plus
- Laboratory experience is highly desirable to support diagnostic procedures and sample handling
- Ability to stay calm under pressure while providing exceptional customer service
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
