The Roles

We are looking for a veterinary assistant and/or reception to join our team! Experience is an asset. This role may involve a combination of client service and animal care duties. You will be the first point of contact for pet owners, assist in caring for patients, and help keep our clinic organized and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to):

- Greeting clients in person and on the phone with warmth and professionalism
- Scheduling appointments, managing reminders, and maintaining accurate records in our veterinary software
- Communicating clearly and empathetically with clients about services, policies, and patient care
- Preparing exam rooms and assisting with smooth patient flow during the day
- Animal care duties such as cleaning, basic husbandry, and gentle handling during examinations, charting and record keeping
- Collaborating with the veterinary team, while also taking initiative to work independently when needed

- Comfortable around animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Organized, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- Customer service experience required; veterinary or medical experience is an asset but not essential
