Elevate classroom engagement as an Educator at T̓łisa̱lagi'lakw School. Focus on diverse learning while incorporating local cultural elements in your teaching approach.
T̓łisa̱lagi'lakw School is searching for two committed Educators to inspire students in grades 2/3 or 3/4. You will prepare engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning requirements and assess students’ academic and social development. Collaboration with school staff and family involvement will enhance the classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and engage assigned grade level students
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans covering yearly objectives
• Evaluate students’ progress and report regularly
• Consult with administrative staff for effective learning
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings and committees
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or teaching certification
• In valuable standing with the British Columbia College of Teachers
• Understanding of British Columbia Curriculum
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in First Nations community preferred
