This teaching opportunity covers Grades 9 through 11 in Exploring Green Industries and specialized horticulture courses. Successful candidates will embody the TDSB's commitment to social justice and human rights in their teaching methods. Your role will be instrumental in providing practical learning experiences in a greenhouse setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop lesson plans for Green Industries classes
• Implement hands-on learning strategies in horticulture
• Promote inclusive and equitable classroom dynamics
• Engage students in meaningful discussions and projects
• Assess and report on student achievement
Requirements:
• Valid certification with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Experience in horticulture and education
• Robust advocacy for human rights and equity
• Effective communication and teaching skills
