Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Quality Engineer (Automation) to support a Capital Markets FX trading platform for one of our enterprise banking clients. This individual will be responsible for driving quality strategy, test planning, defect governance, and release readiness across a suite of trading applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with UI, API, and backend testing, strong knowledge of Capital Markets and FX workflows, and experience partnering with distributed development and testing teams in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable with a minimum of 2 days on site downtown Toronto.

Skills and Requirements 6-7+ years of Quality Engineering / Software Testing experience
Capital Markets experience with exposure to FX products and workflows
Experience leading QE activities, test planning, governance, and defect management
Solid UI, API, and backend testing experience
Postman, REST/SOAP, JSON, SQL,
Unix/Linux experience
Agile/Scrum experience with JIRA and Confluence
Experience working with distributed onshore/offshore teams RFQ (Request for Quote), pricing, booking, or trade distribution experience
FIX Protocol and Solace messaging experience
Selenium, Cucumber, or Playwright automation experience
