Become part of Hopehill’s compassionate community as an Assistant Chaplain. You'll support residents' spiritual care and emotional well-being through various faith-based initiatives and individual connections.

The Assistant Chaplain at Hopehill directly assists the Lead Chaplain in providing meaningful spiritual care to the residents. This role involves developing relationships, offering one-on-one pastoral care, and participating in community worship and spiritual formation. You'll guide residents through grief, transitions, and end-of-life moments, ensuring they feel supported in their journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build trusting relationships with residents through attentive listening
• Provide one-on-one support in grief, loss, or end-of-life care




• Make pastoral visits to hospitals and memorial services
• Welcome new residents into community life and opportunities
• Facilitate worship, prayer, and Bible study sessions

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Ministry or equivalent
• 3-5 years in Christian ministry or chaplaincy
• 1-2 years working with seniors preferred
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Ability to be bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset
