SUMMARY

The Catering Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day catering and transport operations at the station, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant service delivery. This role is accountable for operational performance, financial results, and team leadership while maintaining alignment with company standards and airline partner expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee daily catering, transport, and warehouse operations

Promote and uphold company core values and a safety-first culture

Ensure all operations are executed in compliance with company policies, airline requirements, and regulatory standards

Provide leadership, direction, and support to supervisors, leads, and frontline employees

Conduct regular team meetings, briefings, and engagement discussions

Support development of operational forecasts, including labor and expense planning

Monitor and manage Daily Labor Percentage (DLP) and revenue performance

Ensure station performance meets or exceedsKPIand SLA expectations

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability

Oversee scheduling across all operational areas, ensuring coverage aligns with business needs and budget

Lead hiring, training, and onboarding efforts in partnership with HR

Coach, develop, and evaluate team members, including succession planning initiatives

Identify high-potential employees and support career development

Ensure compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements

Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)





Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting (e.g.,GPET)

Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to procedures

Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with workplace safety standards

Drive accountability for operational performance and service delivery

Maintain a strong understanding of airline contracts and service requirements

Oversee aircraft servicing to ensure accuracy, safety, and on-time performance

Ensure completion and accuracy of operational documentation and reporting

Communicate operational updates, risks, and issues to leadership

Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 18 years of age

3–5 years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, or aviation services

Valid driver’s license (in good standing)

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment

Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airport, security, and regulatory clearances applicable to the location (e.g., TSA, FAA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, U.S. Postal Service, RAIC)

Ability to operate ground service equipment (catering trucks, forklifts, etc.)

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Must successfully complete all required training and certifications

Ability to travel as needed
