Finning Canada is looking for Heavy Duty Mechanics (Red Seal) to join their team, supporting the Drills & Shovels program across BC and the Yukon. This role involves a variety of duties, including troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing key mining equipment. Candidates should possess solid electrical and hydraulic skills along with at least three years of relevant experience to excel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot heavy equipment in field environments
• Respond to customer needs efficiently
• Diagnose electrical and hydraulic system issues




• Maintain explicit communication through paperwork
• Perform preventive maintenance across equipment

Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Off Road certification required
• Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a technician
• Driver’s license with a successful abstract
• Experience with power generation is advantageous
