NAC Constructors Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Journeyperson for our Brighton Wastewater Treatment Plant project. This role requires skilled electricians ready to contribute to complex installations and maintenance in a safety-focused workplace.
Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, you will read and interpret electrical drawings and codes to perform necessary installations. Experience in working with both high and low voltage systems and a strong safety mindset are essential for success in this role. You will guide others while maintaining tools and equipment properly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and maintain electrical wiring and equipment in compliance with codes
• Connect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Perform inspections and troubleshooting on electrical systems
• Direct training for workers on electrical procedures
• Ensure safety practices are followed at all times
Requirements:
• Valid Electricians license is required
• Experience in heavy construction is a must
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and drawings
• Understanding of hazardous installation practices
• Current safety certifications like WHMIS and Working at Heights
