Stantec's Energy and Resources consulting team is seeking an ambitious Controls Engineer to take on consulting projects across North America. This role involves working on mining, renewable energy, and oil & gas initiatives. Your understanding of instrumentation and controls will be vital for the project's success, and mining experience is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and implementation of control systems
• Specify and develop instrumentation datasheets
• Design PLC/DCS/HMI/SCADA control architectures




• Support project coordination and deliverable quality
• Participate in engineering reviews and client meetings

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution
• 5–10 years engineering experience in relevant industries
• Ability to secure a Professional Engineering license
• Solid teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to travel for site investigations (~10%)
