As Supervisor of Standards, you will develop and implement crucial technical specifications and procedures that guide the safe operation of Hydro Ottawa’s distribution system. Your experience in a utility setting will enable you to lead audits and provide technical guidance on compliance with industry codes and regulator expectations. You will also enhance the skills and capabilities of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement technical standards and specifications
• Support design, planning, and construction of the distribution system
• Review and manage technical approval processes
• Lead technical audits and compliance efforts
• Create training materials for staff development
Requirements:
• Professional Engineer licensed in Ontario
• Minimum of 5 years in an electrical utility setting
• Experience in leadership and mentoring roles
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and regulations
• Proficient with MS Office and CAD technology
