Contribute to leading submarine repair efforts at Seaspan in Victoria, British Columbia, as a Planner III. Focus on crafting production schedules and improving project efficiency.
In this critical role, you will develop and maintain comprehensive schedules that guide repair and conversion projects. Engagement with various departments will be crucial as you create templates and methods that enhance team productivity and connectivity. Your strong communication skills will allow you to build solid working relationships that foster trust and effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed production schedules from contract documentation
• Implement and maintain planning templates for cross-departmental use
• Update and manage resource profiles for effective planning
• Generate regular reports on program performance
• Support Earned Value Management systems and reporting requirements
Requirements:
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
• At least 5 years of scheduling experience needed
• Robust knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Understanding of ship repair principles and Agile frameworks
• Proven problem-solving and communication capabilities
