Join Cenovus as a DCS Systems Technologist providing critical Level 1 support at our Thermal sites. You'll ensure high system availability and preventative maintenance for industrial control systems.

This full-time position reports to the Senior Coordinator, OT Site Systems, and supports operations at sites including Sunrise and Foster Creek. Your expertise in DCS, PLC, and control system technology will be key. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, managing patches, and collaborating with stakeholders for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor in office industrial control system health
• Perform break-fixes on DCS, PLC, and SIS components
• Manage inventory and documentation for operational tasks




• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams
• Participate actively in emergency response initiatives

Requirements:
• 12 years in Instrumentation, Automation, and Control Systems
• Experience with Delta V and Rockwell systems
• Knowledge of work management systems like SAP
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
• Completion of medical and drug assessments required
