Step into a rewarding role as a Mental Health & Substance Use Clinician with Northern Health. This position allows you to make a difference by providing ethical care in Primary Care Homes and community environments.

In your role, you will work collaboratively within an interprofessional team to deliver assessment, planning, and intervention services for individuals grappling with mental health and substance use issues. Use your leadership skills to drive effective teamwork, enriching the patient experience through person-centered practice and creative approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough assessments for complex care clients
• Deliver tailored care plans and therapeutic interventions
• Educate clients and families in one-on-one and group settings




• Enhance team dynamics and resolve conflicts effectively
• Document care plans and client interactions accurately

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant health or behavioral field
• Two years of experience in a health care setting
• A current BC driver’s license
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Capability to fulfill physical job responsibilities
