Step into a pivotal role at Edmonton Police as a Strategic Planning Analyst II, where you will connect strategic objectives to operational practices. Provide crucial analytical and advisory support to enhance promotion processes and ensure alignment with EPS goals.
This full-time temporary position will extend until December 31, 2026. The analyst will play a key role within the Recruiting & Promotion Branch, focusing on strategic analysis, evaluation frameworks, and continuous improvement for effective decision-making. Your ability to translate organizational priorities into actionable strategies will drive transformation at EPS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic analysis and evaluation advice to leadership
• Design and maintain evaluation frameworks for promotion processes
• Conduct research to identify best practices in public sector promotions
• Analyze data and trends for operational decision-making
• Prepare evidence-based reports and business cases for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years in strategic planning or related fields
• University degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related area
• Proficient in project management and business analytics
