Join Yonge Street Mission (YSM) as a Volunteer Recruitment Administrator and help transform community health efforts in Toronto. This part time role focuses on supporting volunteer healthcare professionals and includes essential administrative functions.

You will work 22.5 hours weekly to recruit and onboard volunteers at the Evergreen Health Centre. Your role is crucial in ensuring a supportive and organized environment for volunteers, intersecting with YSM’s mission to alleviate chronic poverty. Engage with diverse individuals and communities, building skills in administration and volunteer management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and address ongoing volunteer needs
• Assist in onboarding and training of new volunteers
• Maintain and update volunteer records and data




• Promote the health centre through communications
• Provide reception support and coordinate appointments

Requirements:
• Experience in volunteer or healthcare administration
• Strong skills in communication and organization
• Ability to manage sensitive data and confidential information
• Commitment to community service and support
• Familiarity with healthcare volunteer programs.
