Join Rising Edge Group as a Journeyperson Electrician to specialize in high-voltage electrical infrastructure. This role emphasizes safety and requires commitment to the electrical code and effective mentorship.

As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will undertake responsibilities that include the maintenance, upgrading, and installation of electrical systems within substations. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will mentor apprentices, troubleshoot equipment failures, and ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and standards, paving the way for safe energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems at substations
• Mentor Electrical Apprentices in technical skill development
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure safety code compliance




• Plan layouts for electrical wiring and fixtures based on specifications
• Operate necessary construction equipment safely

Requirements:
• Certified Journeyperson Electrician
• 5 years of experience, 2 in substations required
• Extensive knowledge of electrical safety codes
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Willingness to travel and work in various weather conditions
