The Mexican Corner Restaurant is looking for a passionate Cooks to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for executing recipes with precision and following food-safe procedures at all times.

Responsibilities & Qualifications Solid knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation, health & safety standards, and plate presentation.
Skilled in proper knife handling, kitchen equipment use, and accommodating special dietary needs.
2–3 years of experience in full-service restaurant operations, with Food-Safe certification highly desirable.
Ability to handle the physical demands of the job: standing long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Solid teamwork, time management,



accountability, and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
A valid work permit is required
Duties Keep work areas, equipment, and prep surfaces clean and sanitary, ensuring safe food handling at all times.
Ensure freshness and quality by checking ingredients, regulating equipment temperatures, and rotating stock.
Prepare and cook a range of foods, following recipes and plating standards for a great guest experience.
Assist with kitchen organization, maintain proper food levels, and communicate inventory needs to the team.
Support fellow team members and adapt to different kitchen tasks as needed, especially during rush periods.
