The Nurse Case Manager at CN plays a pivotal role in compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements while managing the disability program. Bringing expertise in disability management, medical evaluations, and case management, you will evaluate safety-sensitive roles within the company. You’re entrusted with sensitive medical information, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support employee health from hiring through retirement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess fitness for work using approved indicators • Perform medical evaluations for various employment situations • Monitor and advise on substance use under CN D&A; policy • Manage disability cases and keep records updated in SAP • Prepare action and return-to-work plans as needed
Requirements: • Minimum 3 years in disability management or acute nursing • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing with valid license • Member of OIIQ or CRNA • Strong technical and organizational skills • Ability to handle pressure and maintain confidentiality
