ABOUT ACCERTA

Accerta is a Canadian-owned and operated GovTech firm that partners with the public sector to deliver innovative, secure, scalable, and people-centred solutions. A Certified B Corporation and a Certified Great Place to Work, Accerta pairs disciplined administration and modern technology with a genuine commitment to the people its programs serve.

Accerta leads the AccessOAP consortium, which serves as an independent intake organization for the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) on behalf of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Working with consortium partners and a province-wide Regional Support Network, AccessOAP registers families, administers funding determinations, and helps families navigate a program that has changed considerably since its launch.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Accerta is seeking a Vice President, Ontario Autism Program. Initially reporting to the CEO and a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President carries direct responsibility for consortium partner relationships, Family Experience, the Independent Review Office and the Regional Support Network, and is the primary day-to-day relationship holder with the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.

The work has three faces: anticipating what government needs and translating policy intent into what can actually be executed; orchestrating delivery across the consortium and a substantial portfolio of concurrent projects; and equipping the field to represent the program clearly to providers and families, then carrying what they hear back into how it is administered.

ABOUT YOU

You are a seasoned,

relational leader with high political acumen and outstanding communication skills. You have worked in or alongside government and understand how public decisions get made, without being confined by bureaucratic habit. You are a translator by instinct, able to make a complex program intelligible to a Deputy Minister, a front-line manager, and a concerned parent in the same week, and you are fluent with data and what it makes possible.

You hold two things at once: you care about the families this program serves, and you understand that Accerta’s role is faithful, accountable administration within clear programmatic guardrails. You operate well in the grey and can distinguish an edge case from a systemic signal. You are highly collaborative and open, you lead through others across dotted lines, and you do what you say and say what you do.

To the role you bring:

- A university degree or equivalent; a Master’s degree (MBA, MPA, MHA or similar) would be considered an asset.
- Approximately 10 years of progressive leadership experience in program delivery within government, health care, developmental or social services, or a mission-driven organization operating under government contract, including experience managing managers.
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Autism Program; clinical credentials are not required,

but genuine subject-matter understanding is.
- A track record of building and sustaining relationships with government stakeholders; prior work with or within the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services would be an asset.
- Experience in complex consortium or multi-agency environments spanning public, private and not-for-profit cultures.

This is a hybrid role that operates out of Accerta’s Toronto office (4 Recent Street, Toronto, ON).
