Position Overview

August Customs is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vinyl & PPF Installer to join our high-performance team in Kelowna, BC. Key Responsibilities

Vinyl Wrap Installation

- Install color change wraps, accent pieces, decals, and custom vinyl graphics.
- Properly stretch, conform, and post-heat vinyl to ensure durability and longevity.
- Perform precise trimming and finishing around edges, seams, badges, and complex panels.
- Assist with vinyl design layouts, panel planning, and removal when required.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installation
- Prepare vehicles for PPF installation, including washing, decontaminating, and inspecting surfaces.
- Install full and partial PPF kits using both bulk installations and pre-cut patterns.
- Ensure proper alignment, trimming, wrapping, and finishing of film edges.
- Identify and correct installation issues such as bubbles, lift lines, stretch marks, and contamination.
- Maintain a clean, dust-free installation environment to achieve top-tier results.

Vehicle Preparation & Quality Control
- Inspect vehicles upon arrival and prior to delivery.
- Communicate any existing damage or concerns to the service manager.
- Perform post-installation inspections to ensure all PPF and vinyl meets August Customs’ quality standards.
- Assist with additional services such as window tint or ceramic coatings as needed.

Customer Service & Communication
- Maintain professional communication with service advisors,



management, and technicians.
- Support customer education on proper care and maintenance of PPF and vinyl wraps.
- Represent the August Customs brand with professionalism at all times.

Shop & Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and installation bays.
- Ensure tools, plotters, heat guns, and installation equipment are properly maintained.
- Assist with inventory management of film rolls, vinyl, blades, squeegees, and installation chemicals.

Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3+ years of hands-on experience installing PPF and/or vinyl wraps (preferred).
- Strong understanding of film behavior, stretch, tack points, and proper installation techniques.
- Experience working with high-end, luxury, and exotic vehicles is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop setting.
- Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
