In this role, you will be pivotal in helping clients with their daily and social activities, ensuring they achieve the greatest independence. The Support Worker is called to fill in where needed, making flexibility crucial. Ideally, you should possess experience or education in social services. Physical abilities to lift and transfer clients will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients in developing life and social skills
• Conduct training and implement support programs
• Assist with emotional and recreational needs
• Perform required lifts during client care
• Work throughout Vancouver, Richmond, and Surrey
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Certification in human services or Grade 12 diploma
• Transparent criminal and medical records
• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications
• Eligible to work in Canada
