Reporting to the Manager of Nursing Practice and Education, the Clinical Nurse Educator's responsibilities include assessing staff needs and implementing best practices in client care. Your work will support the interprofessional team’s efforts, ensuring high standards of care in the Saskatchewan Health Region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain educational programs for nursing staff
• Assess and respond to the learning needs of the clinical team
• Promote best practices in patient and family care
• Participate in continuous improvement and committee activities
• Act as a clinical resource for staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• 3 years’ experience in geriatric or medical nursing
• Clinical leadership experience required
• Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
• Strong advanced communication abilities
