Become an HVAC Mechanic I at Coquitlam School District with a permanent full-time role focusing on installation and maintenance of HVAC systems. This position plays a key role in school operations.

As the HVAC Mechanic I, you will report to the Manager of Maintenance and handle a variety of HVAC tasks independently. Your work will include installing, repairing, and maintaining critical heating and ventilation systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable setting for students and staff. Those with extensive HVAC experience will find this role a rewarding challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair heating and ventilation equipment
• Maintain pneumatic and electronic thermostats
• Execute air balancing for heating systems




• Conduct inspections for preventative maintenance
• Support other trades as a supervising authority

Requirements:
• HVAC/Refrigeration Certificate of Trades Qualification
• Class B gas fitting certification necessary
• Minimum three years in HVAC maintenance
• Solid troubleshooting skills required
• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license needed
