Join Tsawwassen First Nation as a Cultural Events and Workshops Planner in a full-time capacity. This role is centered on organizing community events that celebrate indigenous language, traditions, and cultural practices.

The planner will collaborate with the Language & Culture Supervisor and the Events & Food Services team to ensure cultural elements are embedded in all community celebrations. Your efforts will support workshops that reflect the knowledge of Elders and the rich heritage of the Tsawwassen community. With robust organizational skills, you’ll bring impactful programming to life.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute workshops focusing on Tsawwassen traditions
• Oversee all logistical aspects of events




• Collaborate with community members and facilitators
• Manage budgets and purchasing for events
• Drive awareness through community communications

Requirements:
• At least 3 years of event planning experience
• Educational background in Event Management or similar
• Familiarity with Coast Salish culture is beneficial
• Strong project management and budgeting capabilities
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License needed
