Lead a transformative aquatic experience at the Don Wheaton Family YMCA as a Health and Aquatics Coordinator. This full time on-site position emphasizes operational excellence and team leadership.

You will collaborate closely with the Aquatics Manager to ensure all programs meet safety and quality standards. The role involves mentoring staff and enhancing the experience of all aquatic program participants through comprehensive training and support initiatives. You'll play an active part in both administrative and hands-on aspects of aquatic operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Train and coach Aquatics team members effectively
• Oversee and ensure compliance with safety practices
• Manage program evaluations for continuous improvement




• Conduct safety audits and equipment checks
• Serve as an in-water mentor for staff development

Requirements:
• 2+ years in a leadership role within Aquatics
• Certified in Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C
• National Lifeguard and Swim Instructor certifications required
• Understanding of Pool Standards and regulations
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
