In this full-time role with BC Pension Corporation, you will guide the development of proactive cybersecurity programs and oversee the integration of enterprise security platforms. The position demands a CISSP-certified leader with expertise in threat prevention, vulnerability management, and IT security. You will manage a team to mitigate threats and implement governance that aligns with corporate and legislative standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead threat prevention strategies, including threat intelligence and vulnerability management
• Direct governance and lifecycle management of SIEM, EDR, and cloud security technologies




• Enforce standards for vulnerability remediation and risk management
• Supervise staff, including performance planning and mentoring
• Oversee security assessments, investigations, and compliance activities

Requirements:
• Degree in computer science or related field
• CISSP certification required
• Minimum five years of IT security experience, including threat prevention
• Three years leading IT professionals, preferably in a unionized setting
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security technologies
