Deliver essential support as a Resident Care Aide at AgeCare Mount Ida Mews in Salmon Arm, BC. Engage patients in care activities while performing critical personal and mobility assistance duties.

AgeCare is offering a full-time opportunity for a Resident Care Aide with adaptable shift options, including weekends and evenings. Your primary responsibilities will include aiding patients with personal care, monitoring health indicators, and ensuring a supportive environment. Your proactive involvement will contribute to the patients’ overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Collaborate with a team to provide effective personal care
• Monitor and document vital signs accurately




• Support during outdoor activities to enhance patient quality of life
• Keep patient living spaces clean and organized

Requirements:
• Must hold an HCA Certificate
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required
• Experience in mobility assistance and patient documentation
• Strong commitment to teamwork and patient care
• Capability to handle heavy lifting and ensure safe positioning of patients
