Join the BC Centre for Ability as a Physiotherapist, focusing on pediatric therapy services that enhance children's everyday participation. Serve in various settings, including homes and virtual platforms.
This role is a contract from August 17, 2026, to March 27, 2027. You’ll assess motor skills, consult with families, and deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each child’s needs. Robust collaboration and communication skills are vital for success in this position, supporting children in their natural environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and identify motor skill development
• Collaborate with families to create therapeutic strategies
• Utilize Evidence Based Practice for therapy delivery
• Guide families in acquiring necessary therapeutic equipment
• Engage with caregivers in multiple care settings
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Preferred pediatric experience
• Motivational Interviewing training is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Registration with CHCPBC needed
