Summary
Youth Now on Track Services (YNOT) is seeking an experienced skilled with a strong background in program development and implementation, as well as team leadership, to support the successful delivery of the Innovative Support for Black Parents (ISBP) Initiative. This individual will be responsible for coordinating a team in achieving the initiative’s goals and objectives while also supporting the broader needs and objectives of YNOT’s other programs and initiatives.
Type of position
This is a full-time position with the flexibility of sometimes having to work towards the evening hours or attend weekend meetings/events.
Hours of work
Monday,Tuesday, and Thursday—9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Wednesday and Friday—9:30 am to 5:30 pm—may vary (40 hours/week).
Description
Youth Now on Track Services is seeking a dedicated and dynamic ISBP Coordinator to lead the delivery of the Innovative Support for Black Parents (ISBP) Initiative and support the coordination of other youth- and family-centered programs offered by the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising educational and recreational activities for children aged 4 to 13 , ensuring all programming aligns with the developmental needs of participants and the overall goals of YNOT.

Position Title: ISBP Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of programs and events under the ISBP initiative, including Afterschool, Summer Camp, Spring Break, mental health workshops, Christmas Toy Drive, and other youth programs.
Develop a vision and progressive short-term and long-term plan to improve and maintain a high scope for the ISBP initiatives.
Supervise and support program staff, volunteers, and placement students to ensure high-quality delivery and participant engagement.
Provide weekly updates of the program to the manager with regular reports on the program and tasks, including the progress of participants, interns, and volunteers.
Develop age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Manage logistics for programs and events that may serve between 30 to 150 children , depending on scope and outreach.
Proactive in finding sponsors and partners for the ISBP program to ensure sustainability.
Coordinating facilitation and other related activities for Workshops such as Mental Health
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of program activities, attendance, and outcomes.
Required to attend monthly meetings and professional training sessions
Personal development towards supporting the execution of the role more effectively.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and community partners to foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and relevant child protection guidelines.
Assist with outreach, promotion, and evaluation of programs to ensure continuous improvement and community relevance.
Writing of evaluation reports of programs to government/funders.
Ensure the health and safety of all children at all times by identifying potential hazards and proactively implementing preventative measures.
Report to the Program Manager
Attend meetings when needed.
Other responsibilities as required by the organization.
Requirements
Diploma in Child and Youth Care or Early Childhood Educators
Minimum 2 years experience as an educator or in a relevant position
Knowledge of program management and development procedures
Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting
Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and efficient
Grant writing skills are an asset
Current Standard First Aid and Infant/Child CPR & AED certification (Level C)
Reliable access to a car is an asset.
