Support women's recovery at Ruth and Naomi's Mission as a Recovery Support Worker based in Chilliwack, BC. This casual role includes overnight shifts aimed at fostering an encouraging recovery atmosphere.

We need empathetic Recovery Support Workers to assist women in our addiction recovery program. Using the Genesis Process, you’ll provide support and help maintain a safe space for healing. Availability for evening and weekend shifts is important, as it allows you to engage meaningfully with program participants as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage participants in meaningful structured activities
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support
• Foster a protected, nurturing recovery environment




• Collaborate closely with team members
• Support group facilitation as needed

Requirements:
• Experience or training in addiction recovery or counseling is an asset
• Trauma-informed understanding is essential
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check required
• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
