Aecon is seeking a dedicated Paving Foreman for the 2026 construction season based in Calgary. In this role, you will lead the asphalt paving division, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality. Collaborating with the asphalt plant and in office teams, you’ll coordinate project execution from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Place asphalt mix according to required specifications.
• Communicate effectively with asphalt suppliers.
• Conduct pre-paving inspections to ensure readiness.
• Direct scheduling and organization of paving crews.
• Ensure quality checks on finished surfaces for smoothness.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in an asphalt paving role.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license is essential.
• Willingness to adhere to overtime and positional demands.
• Compliance with company drug & alcohol programs is a must.
• Professional communication skills with all personnel.
